NCEA Courses well received by Young Adult customers

 During the winter terms the learning centres have been trialling courses for senior secondary students that are designed to assist with their NCEA studies. Titled: Writing for NCEA, Information Literacy and Study Boost, four sessions in total have been held with a total attendance of about 50 students and parents.

Develop life long learning habits for the digital age and connect with the community at your local library, through a series of technology tasters


Connect courses offer an introduction to digital literacy utilizing the wealth of community library resources. These free programmes are one off sessions lasting 90 minutes.


Further lessons on each theme can be developed in negotiation with Learning Centre staff, however these will be on a user pays basis.
