Extending horizons and developing confident, creative and collaborative learners through our dynamic technology based programmes

Horizons programmes are specialised Information and Communication Technology (ICT) focussed offering different themes each term. Students from different schools work collaboratively within a dynamic technological learning environment.

The maximum number of students per course is 12. Each school uses their own student selection policy for these placements. The schools are responsible for the transportation of the students to and from the Learning Centre. Schools are offered a limited number student places per programme. Bookings are accepted on a first in basis.

Horizon programme themes can be customised for a school group subject to booking availability.

Open Programmes

Suitable for children in years 6 to 8 with an interest in the topic, or for students the school wishes to acknowledge. 

GATE Programmes

Suitable for children participating in the school’s Gifted and Talented Education programmes.
