The Youth Heritage Competition is designed to encourage school aged students to participate in Heritage Week celebrations. Each year has a different heritage theme.

This event began in 2007 and from 2008 will be a bi-annual event to help Christchurch youth celebrate our heritage using ICT.

2007 –  “Remember when..gathering memories of places, spaces, icons and identities”
2008 – “Back to the Future: From World War One to World Wide Web”
